All properly licensed amateur radio operators are invited to participate, and you do not need to be a member of the Chicago C.E.R.T Amateur radio group. The purpose of this net is ensuring equipment operation, practicing radio communications, and educating participants in emergency preparedness. All licensed amateurs—with or without CERT affiliation—are welcome to check into this net.
